Don’t forget to stop mail and newspaper deliveries, and never leave a note on your front door informing people that you are away. Arrange for someone, preferably a friend, relative, or neighbour, to mow your lawn. If possible, leave an extra car parked in the driveway, to give the appearance that someone is home. It also stops burglars from pulling up to the garage and gaining an easy way to haul away your belongings!
